A fire started by an Oasis watercooler destroyed this company, and Chubb insurance is refusing to pay because the owner was risking his life rescuing a cat and six kittens and not some data tapes from the burning office building! Please help spread the word!
This is about the lowest thing I've ever heard in my life. This guy risked his life to save some kittens that aren't even his, refused to join a class action law suit due to his personal ethics and morals, believing that Oasis, Chubb Insurance and Coca-Cola would do the right and honorable thing. What Mr. Judd is now experiencing is the loss of his business, financial ruin, and a loss of faith that there is still honor among business entities. Once again it seems, giant corporations can act without responsibility or conscience for thier actions, decisions, and choices.
Furthermore, I believe personally EPD is letting Coke off way to easy... they intentionally endorsed Oasis products and Coca-Cola Bottlers, by
allowing these entities to use their trade name and/or allowing defective and dangerous products to be marketed, hence they are responsible... that
is just my personal opinion. At the very least, Coke should bring their corporate power into play and "nudge" the responsible (Oasis and Chubb)
parties to do the right and honorable thing.
I'm also ashamed I ever drank one Coke, and will NEVER drink another one, or any use other product that Coke is involved with! I personally know
Dan Judd, and can think of no finer example of an individual who promotes strong moral and ethical convictions in every part of his life. You people
should be ashamed of yourselves. How do you face your wives and children at the end of the work day?
Have you no conscience at all?
Michael A. Wiles, Sr.
EPD is asking everyone to please help us spread the word about this disgusting behavior. Boycott Oasis Watercoolers, don't insure with Chubb Insurance, and above all:
Make SURE there is not an Oasis Watercooler in your home, or where your children go to school.
If your child is hurt or, God forbid, killed by one of these Oasis Watercoolers, you won't want to hear, "Unfortunately, we don't insure children." It takes very little to check, and even less to replace it, and could save you so much grief. Let's face it, all we lost was our jobs and business. I'd hate to see someone else lose a child.

In a nutshell: EPD asked Oasis to pay for destroying our company and jobs; Oasis told us they would not, because I rescued kittens instead of our files; EPD sued Oasis for the cost of replacing our company(about $57,000); Oasis sued EPD and I for $703 million to shut us up. When other people began complaining about that, Oasis threatened to sue to shut them up!
PLEASE HELP US FIGHT OFF THIS DESPICABLE ATTACK!
Thank you very much, and I hope all of your new years are better than ours.
I also hope your business dealings involve people with a better corporate conscience than those we've encountered.
